  The Haylo Hair and Beauty staff were great, from beginning to end - really awesome ladies. The initial consultation was a welcome start, whilst most of it was info I already knew about my own hair, knowing that your hair stylist understands curls was refreshing. The process of cutting and styling specifically curly hair, was something I’ve never experienced before in a salon. My Mum and I went together, and as Pacific women, [who have never found success in people cutting our type of hair], we were hesitant. But guess what? we left feeling like we had a breakthrough and walked out confident that we could own our new ‘curly’ styles for the first time. For someone who has spent most of my life trying to reverse frizz and curls - I was amazed that my hair looked so good in its natural state. There is a process to maintaining the style - but it’s worth it!!

  I can’t thank the ladies who did my hair today enough. I had traumatizing experience in the past cause I have Afro hair. Oh my god the color (hand painting) the cut I thank both ladies from the bottom of my heart it really was the best experience I have had restored my faith in saloons I will be Back both color and cut were beyond anything I can imagine thank you ladies so much. My apologies for my hesitation as I was worried my hair will be ruined again. The expertise really shines through I will not hesitate to give my hair to any member of the haylo team it was a lovely experience

  Had my yearly cut for a second time with Haylo Hair & Beauty recently and I'm in awe of the team and their passion for looking after us curly girls and women. Holly did my cut and co-wash, and left me feeling in love with my hair even more. Would highly recommend you book in, you will not be disappointed.

  I love this salon, all the staff are friendly & accommodating. Hayley knew exactly what I wanted from my terrible description and cut my hair perfectly. I usually hate my hair after a haircut, but I loved this the moment saw it & still do days later. A win for me.

  Beautiful salon, lovely vibe, very chilled; don’t ’squeeze’ in a visit if you’re time crunched because you won’t enjoy it as much. Curls take time, and the relaxed vibe comes from that. It was a first curly cut for my daughter, her eyes opened wide after the head massage as she said ‘I LOVE this place’. The cut is gorgeous. Lovely staff! Also, try the cafe next door; excellent donuts!
